Rose Pistachio Cake

Mixing dry ingredients-
Use a sifter to sift the flour & other dry ingredients. It will give you good aeration while preparing the cake. Take 100 gm Maida (plain flour) mixed with 1 tsp of baking powder & 1 baking soda. Mix well. Mixing wet ingredients- In a separate bowl, take 80 gm butter kept at room temperature. Add 200 gm condensed milk. Add 100 ml milk .

#MeghnasMagicTip - Please ensure all the ingredients are taken at room temperature, else results will not be good. Mix the wet ingredients with a beater. #MeghnasMagicTip Always add dry ingredients into wet ingredients to mix well. Use cut & fold method to mix all the ingredients well. Now use the beater to churn the cake batter. Take a baking tin & grease it with oil. Place parchment paper at the bottom. This will ensure cakes comes off the baking tin nicely.Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree for 10 minutes. And baking time will be 25-30 minutes depending upon the size of the oven. Fill the baking tray with the cake batter & keep it for baking.

#MeghnasMagicTip To check the cake whether it's baked properly or not, insert a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean, mean the cake is baked properly. Take out the cake and let it cool down for an hour. Now whip the cream with the rose syrup

#MeghnasMagicTip Never ice a cake when it is hot or warm, else the cake will not hold the icing. Place a plate on the cake tin & turn it upside down. Remove parchment paper from the top. We will use the cake bottom as the top of the cake for icing. Now flip the cake & shave the uneven surface of the top to make it flat. Now cut the cake from center horizontally to create 2 parts. Make sugar syrup by boiling water and diluting sugar in it. Apply 2 spoons of sugar syrup on both the parts one by one. Apply whipped cream on one part of the top of the cake.Sprinkle dry rose petals & unsalted pistachio. Repeat the same process for the top layer. Eggless Rose Pistachio Cake is ready

Recipe Ingredients

Dry ingredients-
100 gm Maida 
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder

Wet ingredients-
80 gm butter (not melted, just room temperature)
180 gm Condensed milk
100 ml milk
1 tbs Rose Syrup

To make sugar syrup-
1 cup water
2 tsp sugar
Finely chopped Unsalted Pistachio & Dry Rose Petals
